Who knew you can save files in a bullet? Well, in a USB bullet that is.

The Bullet USB drive is shaped like, well as the name suggests, a bullet—or more specifically a machine gun bullet. It comes mighty with 2 GB of storage capacity and is available in two colors: gold and silver.

As the Bullet USB drive may be cool, it is not however advisable to carry it around, more so bring it along with you on extended travels that may require you to undergo security check.

Samsung will also be soon joining the many manufacturers that are packing their netbooks  with Intel’s latest Pine Trail platform.

Samsung, a Korean brand, is set to introduce their 10.1 inch N220 netbook  that will of course carry an Atom N450 processor. Along with that, it will also be fitted with GMA 3150 for the graphics support. The N220  will also feature 1 GB of RAM, a 250 GB hard drive, b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, a webcam and a six-cell battery that boasts up to eleven and a half hours of battery life. The Samsung N220 will be pre-installed with Windows 7.

The Samsung N220 will retail for about $500.

LG has just announced its new external hard drive, the XG1 Chic. This new hard drive will absolutely look good beside your pc or laptop with its dainty yet cool design.  It is available in either glossy black or white colors.

The 3.5 inch stylish LG XG1 Chic hard drive may comes in with 1 TB, 1.5 TB or 2 TB of storage capacities. The new LG hard drive is set to be shipped to South Korea in January. However, the possibility of it being sold out of the said country is still yet to be known as the XG1 is initially just for the Korean market.

Averatec’s HS-105 Netbook

Averatec has just announced its HS-105 Netbook. The good-looking netbook is equipped with a 1.6 GHz Atom N270 processor. Unfortunately, that’s the same CPU that can be found powering many a netbook these past year or so. In this case, it is beyond comparison with the Intel Atom N450 powered ones, making the HS-105 easy to be looked over in the market.

The HS-105 does feature 2 GB of RAM, a 945 graphics set, 10.1 inch LCD with a resolution of 1024 x 600, a choice of 160 or 250 GB hard drive, WiFi and a 1.3 megapixel web camera.

Brushed Aluminum Sheng T108 Netbook

The Sheng T108 has been recently spotted in Shenzhen, China. And although it may not have too many to boast about its specs, it still stands out among the glossy netbooks out there with its brushed aluminum chassis.

The 10.1-inch Sheng T108 features an Intel Atom N280 processor, 2 GB of DDR2 memory and a 250 GB hard drive. It also got a three-cell battery, VGA port, 802.11b/g WiFi support, a built-in webcamera, and a SIM card slot for 3G connectivity.

The Sheng T108 is said to be priced at around $300. News of it ever coming out of China is still unclear, but this netbook will definitely be anticipated by many.

Just a few more days and we’ll welcome a new year. And it looks like that the Nvidia Fermi won’t be able to make the cut, as its originally scheduled release this year of the new 40nm GPU will be further pushed to March 2010.

And while Nvidia’s flagship DirectX11 card also still has yet to come out of the starting blocks, its competition ATI is already preparing with two new releases scheduled for late January or early February. The HD5670 (Redwood) and HD 5450 (Cedar) will be placed alongside the HD 5570 and HD 5350 to replace the lower and middle portions of ATI’s Evergreen.

It seems that Google will finally be having the netbook that’s named after it, after all. Although there had been news about the Google netbook recently, it has never been confirmed by the company. Now, news from IBTimes and Netbook News reveal that Google has been in talks with a number of manufacturers, and has been discussing what the Google Chrome OS-based netbook will be capable of.

Australia’s top manufacturer of personal computers, Pioneer Computers, has just launched its DreamBook Light U11. The company is also vastly known in the country for its innovative products that are also matched with stunning performance. It has also received awards for some of its computer and software.

The DreamBook Light U11 features either an Intel Dual Core SU3200 or an SU4100 processor. Both processors will be backed up by up to 4GB of memory.

The 11.6inch ultra portable and lightweight DreamBook Ligh U11 notebook also comes with Bluetooth, 1.3 megapixel web camera, VGA, HDMI, 3 USB ports and a four-in-one memory card reader.

The DreamBook Light U11 notebook retails for about $630.

Asus Eee Pad Tablet with Nvidia Tegra Graphics Coming in March

A few weeks ago, Asus was purportedly to come out with its own tablet device called the Asus Eee Pad. Now, more details of the Asus Eee Pad are surfacing.

The Asus Eee Pad is said to feature Nvidia’s Tegra chipset, and possibly the fastest ARM processor as well.  It will come with a four to seven-inch touchscreen display and offer a range of tablet functions.

As Asus is planning to launch the Eee Pad in March, it should be expected that by January 2010, announcement of the Asus Eee Pad should be released at the Consumer Electronics Show.
