Averatec has just launched its thinnest netbook, the Averatec N1200 netbook. The latest netbook from the firm measures just less than one inch thick and weighs only 2.2 pounds.
The Averatec N1900 netbook is powered by Intel’s Atom N450 processor and has 1 GB of RAM as standard. It can then be upgraded up to 2GB of RAM. It also has a 160 GB hard drive.
The netbook’s 10.1 inch LED LCD display brags a 1024 x 600 resolution. It also features a built-in 1.3 megapixel web camera, an integrated 802.11n WiFi and the usual USB 2.0 ports and headphones and microphone jacks. The Averatec N1900 also comes pre-installed with either Windows XP Home or Windows 7 Starter Edition.
The Averatec N1900’s battery isn’t that impressive, with reportedly up to three hours only of usage time. There is an optional extended battery though which can give you six extra hours of usage.
The Averatec N1900 netbook will be available soon for $330.
