
Fresh from its debut at the Mobile World Congress 2010 is the Acer’s Aspire One 532G—the first netbook with Nvidia’s Ion 2.
The Pine Trail netbook still has the same chassis as the previously reviewed 532H, but what really counts is what’s inside it—a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, GMA 3150 GPU graphics, 2 GB of RAM and 320 GB of hard drive. Accompanying all of that is Nvidia’s new Optimus automatic switching technology which “intelligently, automatically, and seamlessly transitions between the powerful Nvidia Ion GPU, and battery-saving integrated graphics – depending on the needs of the application—delivering great battery life and great performance when you need it.”
