Archos is known for its generally well-receibed portable media players. But with the Archos 9 PC tablet, the firm fused media player and Netbook laptop into one attractively priced fusion device.

The Archos 9 PC tablet features a 1.1GHz Intel Atom Z510 as the CPU, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM memory, and integrated Intel GMA 500 for the graphics and 60 GB of hard drive memory at 5400 rpm.

Archos 10 Netbook Stands Out In The Crowd

The notebook market may already be crowded but Archos has decided to join the fray by introducing the Archos 10 Netbook. While it has specifications similar to other netbooks including an Intel Atom processor with a speed of 1.6GHz, 160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, a 10-inch screen display with a resolution of 1024×600 and a Windows XP Home operating system. It is also equipped with connectivity features like three USB ports, SD card reader, Ethernet, VGA out and Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g. The Archos 10 Netbook is an ideal netbook for road warriors as it weighs only 2.7 pounds and is 1.1-inch thin.
