Asus shows off another new broadband router, the Asus RT-456U. Announced at CeBIT earlier this week, Asus unfortunately did not release that much information about the new router.

What is only known so far about the sleek 802.11n WiFi RT-456U router is that it is probably the world’s thinnest broadband router ever made.

Furthermore, Asus RT-456U features dual band support, and the 5GHz band id used for your WiFi printers and scanners, and is very fast with 300,000 concurrent sessions available.

No word on pricing or availability date though.

Last month, Asus has released a few details on their three new netbooks, the Asus Eee PC 1015, the Asus Eee PC 1016P and the Asus Eee PC 1018P. And now, all three are officially out in the market.

Right now, there are only a few details available for the new netbooks. First up is the Asus Eee PC 1015. This new netbook is a new model in Asus’s Seashell range and it comes with a removable battery that is good for up to 14 hours of usage.

Beauty and brains. That’s how to describe the Asus N80v notebook. The Asus N80v notebook is very stylish with its bronze glossy chassis which makes it appear like it’s made of wood. It also sports a 14.4 inch display with a resolution of1280 x 800 pixels, which is commonly found on 15.4 inch laptops.

Inside is a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 processor combined with 4 GB of RAM. This notebook also comes with a powerful Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS graphics card with 512 MB of video memory. The N80v also has 320 GB of free disk space.

Asus is developing yet another multitouch-enabled Eee PC, the Eee PC T101MT.

The Eee PC T101MT is a swivel-screen netvertible that sports a 10.1-inch resistive multitouch display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600. It also comes with Windows 7, up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, and a 160GB or 320GB hard drive.

It also features Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 0.3 megapixel webcam and a 6.5 hour battery. You’ll also get a VGA output, a trio of USB 2.0 sockets, Ethernet audio in / out, an SD / SDHC / SDXC card reader, and 500GB of internet-accessible ASUS WebStorage. The Eee PC T101MT also comes in two colors: black and white.

DigiTimes is reporting that Asus is planning to launch an Ion 2-powered Eee PC this coming April.

The new model from Asus is said to sport a 12-inch display, along with an undisclosed tyoe of Nvidia GPU. But still, the Nvidia chipset will surely boost the performance of the new laptop, especially since Asus’ Pine Trail-only bump given to its Eee PC 1005PE didn’t offer much in the way of performance improvements and still can’t handle YouTube video in HD.

Asus is still backing up Pegatron with the latter’s new smartbook; Neo.

Although still a prototype, the slick white smartbook from Pegatron, runs the Android OS on its 10-inch display. But it offers the Tegra 2 combo of 1080p playback and up to a full day of WiFi-enabled battery.

The Neo is definitely coming later this year, but the information on the price and availability, as well as the distributor badge, is not yet revealed. We do hope that once the Neo has been launched in the market, it had already fixed some of its setbacks, such as some of its creaky and unstable parts.

Just two days ago Asus has released a laptop with an impressive twelve hour battery life. Now, another netbook, the Asus 1005PE, boasts a fourteen-hour battery life.

The Asus Eee 1005PE netbook is powered by the Intel Atom N450 processor. It also comes equipped with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM as standard with the option to increase to 2 GB. A 250 GB hard drive is also fitted inside this netbook. Additional storage space of up to 500 GB will also be provided online by Asus.
