For quite some time Apple has not taken advantage of the tablet market and has not offered a tablet PC of its own. But, another company has joined the tablet community with its take on a Mac-based PC.

The Axiotron Modbook is another interesting addition to the family of tablet PCs for those graphics designers and illustrators who prefer to work with a pen rather than a keyboard.
This machine looks very much like the Apple MacBook 13-inch by just adding a Wacom digitizer screed to the chassis. The Modbook is a slate tablet unlike the conventional convertible tablet that would have had the benefit of an integrated keyboard.
