eMachines has been the prime purveyors of the Nettop movement currently happening in the industry. However, saying that the eMachines EZ1601-01 the best all-in-one Nettop is like saying that the swine flu is our favorite type of flu. If you are going to spend $399 we suggest that find a netbook or a budget laptop is the best way to spend your money.

Makers of Nettops want you to believe that these PC’s are disposable types that you can use as second or third computers. Well that is definitely true, but if you wish to get real value for your money I suggest you go buy yourself a real PC.

The new eMachines EZ1601-01 which has a list price of $ 399.99 is an 18-inch all in one nettop PC. A nettop is like a PC with a bigger screen than 17 inch notebooks that almost always cost twice as much.
