A laptop designed to entertain, well, figuratively and literally. That’s the HP Pavilion dv7-2270us. The dv7-2270us’s sleek, black finish accented with silver circles on both the lid and keyboard bezel truly makes this something to look at. The laptop is also trimmed with chrome piping, the same with the fingerprint-magnet mirrored touchpad.

The dv7-2270us has a striking 17.3 inches 16:9 HD screen. Just above the full-sized keyboard is a large speaker bar, and above that is a backlit LED audio/video controls.

HP also equipped the dv7-2270us with MediaSmart made all the more better with the included remote control. The remote control is stored in the ExpressCard slot in the side of the…

Ever since computing began, small businesses with a small budget for IT have faced a difficult choice: purchase a reasonably priced but large system targeted at them, or a inexpensive consumer ultraportable without the build quality or business-friendly features they require.

This is where the HP ProBook 5310m comes in, the unit is aggressively priced so that it will specifically target the small business market. Now businesses can get a high-quality business ultraportable for well under $1,000.

The ProBook 5310m is the not the lightest notebook out there, but it comes close in terms of quality to higher priced ultraportables. At 12.9 x 8.7 x 0.9 inches and 3.8 pounds, the 5310m…

Hands down the ultrathin and decked out in brushed aluminum, the HP Pavilion dm3t is one of the best looking notebooks of the year. It looks so good that you would not expect it to just cost $649 and $839 for the spec up version.

The unit also has an ultra-low-voltage Intel processor, so this Windows 7 unit can last more than 9 hours on one charge. The only bad thing we can think of the HP Pavilion dm3t is its sluggish touchpad which makes it very difficult to use.

If you have you eyes on an HP Envy 13 and you don’t have the budge for it, well don’t fret because…

History has shown us that being the first is almost always a good thing, and when it comes to unproven technology it can really pay off. Take for example the HP TouchSmart 600, HP was the first to market a touch base all in one PC almost two years ago. With the release of Windows 7, almost all of PC makers are jumping on the multitouch bandwagon.

Since HP was the first to do the multi touch, it has years of real market feedback that they have used to make the HP TouchSmart 600. The result is on of the most usable multi touch PC in the market.

HP has matched Sony…

Now that most widescreen desktops monitors are now shifting to the 16:9 aspect ratio, you can also expect to see that same thing being done to the smaller models. This is where the  HP 2150m ($239.99 direct) comes in, it is a 21.5-inch display with a maximum resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels, which means it is a true HD-capable (1080p) monitor. The display is really good, nice colors and it can really display small test. We really like the three video inputs to choose from, but like everything else it has some flaws.

Performance was a mixed bag. The 2159m did a good job of displaying each of the 25…
