A new smartbook has been released by the Netherlands-based Mobinova, the Beam Smartbook.

The Beam features an ARM Cortex A9 processor. The graphics will be supported by the NVIDIA Tegra GPU. It is equipped with an 8.9 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600.

The Mobinova Beam smartbook also comes with 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of NAND for its Android operating system. Solid state drives from 8 GB up to 63 GB are also optional. The Beam smartbook is also fitted with a SD card slot for more storage, a built-in 3G for AT&T’s 3G network, WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, HDMI out and USB ports.
