One of the leading manufacturers of computer hardware products and solutions, MSI, has just announced that its Wind U135 netbook is already available. The special edition netbooks commemorate the millions of Wind models that have been sold globally. It is also the first MSI netbook to feature the Intel Pine Trail Platform with the Atom N459 processor.

The U135’s new CPU and chipset consume just 7 watts with its3-cell or 6-cell battery. The latter delivers a battery life of up to 7.5 hours. MSI will is releasing two new netbooks that will be presented in the launched at the Consumer Electronics Show this coming January 2010, the MSI Wind U310 and U135.

Although details are limited, it is certain that both the new MSI Wind U310 and U135 will be equipped with Intel’s N450 Atom processor and Intel GMA3150 graphics card.

The MSI Wind U310 and U135 will also feature a 10-inch LED backlit LCD display, a 1.3 megapixel web camera, built-in 802.11 WiFi, Bluetooth, and face recognition software.

The U310 will come with a 160 GB hard drive for £230 while the U135 with a 250 GB hard drive will cost £280.

Another ultra thin notebook has been launched by MSI: the X-Slim X350 Ultra Thin Notebook.

The X-Slim X350 features a 13.4 inch LED backlit screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768. It also comes with Intel’s CULV platform and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of DDR2 667 Mhz RAM and an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card. A choice of either a 320 GB or 500 GB 2.5 inch SATA hard drive is also available.

MSI has launched its all in one PC, and it’s dubbed as the WindTop AP1900. This all-in-one PC is fitted with an Intel Atom N270 processor. It sports an 18.5-inch UV coated LCD screen that supports up to 1266 x 768 resolution.

The MSI WindTop AP1900 also features 1GB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive. The graphics will be supported by a built-in Intel GMA 950 graphics card. The WindTop AP1900 also boasts of a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a DVD SuperMulti drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, four USB 2.0 ports and WiFi connectivity.
