MSI’s X-Slim range welcomes another ultraportable notebook, the MSI X-Slim X360.

The X360 is powered by an Intel Core i5 520UM processor, and it features 2GB of DDR2 RAM as standard with the option to upgrade to 4GB of RAM Its 13 inches high-def LCD boasts a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.

Other specifications include integrated Intel HD graphics, a choice of hard drives which include a 250GB HDD, a 320GB or a 500GB HDD, there is also a choice of a four cell or six cell battery, capable of up to nine hours of usage.

It was only last November that MSI announced their Wind U230 series. Now, MSI’s Wind U230 is finally available.

The MSI Wind U230 will be offered in two models: first is the Wind U230-033 which features an AMD Athlon NEO MV-40 processor and a 350 GB hard drive, then the Wind U230-040 which comes with a dual core AMD Athlon X2 L335 processor and a 320 GB hard drive.

Both models come with a 12.1 inch LCD display with a 1366 x 768 resolution and ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics chipset and 2 GB of RAM.

One of the leading manufacturers of computer hardware products and solutions, MSI, has just announced that its Wind U135 netbook is already available. The special edition netbooks commemorate the millions of Wind models that have been sold globally. It is also the first MSI netbook to feature the Intel Pine Trail Platform with the Atom N459 processor.

The U135’s new CPU and chipset consume just 7 watts with its3-cell or 6-cell battery. The latter delivers a battery life of up to 7.5 hours. MSI will is releasing two new netbooks that will be presented in the launched at the Consumer Electronics Show this coming January 2010, the MSI Wind U310 and U135.

Although details are limited, it is certain that both the new MSI Wind U310 and U135 will be equipped with Intel’s N450 Atom processor and Intel GMA3150 graphics card.

The MSI Wind U310 and U135 will also feature a 10-inch LED backlit LCD display, a 1.3 megapixel web camera, built-in 802.11 WiFi, Bluetooth, and face recognition software.

The U310 will come with a 160 GB hard drive for £230 while the U135 with a 250 GB hard drive will cost £280.

Another ultra thin notebook has been launched by MSI: the X-Slim X350 Ultra Thin Notebook.

The X-Slim X350 features a 13.4 inch LED backlit screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768. It also comes with Intel’s CULV platform and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of DDR2 667 Mhz RAM and an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card. A choice of either a 320 GB or 500 GB 2.5 inch SATA hard drive is also available.
