Steel Series has just launched a new keyboard, the 6Gv2 gaming keyboard. This new keyboard is specially designed for serious gamers out there.

Steel Series did not opt to equip the 6Gv2 gaming keyboard with USB ports or any media keys. Instead, the firm equipped the gaming keyboard with 18 karat gold plated mechanical switches, which are designed to be more responsive, thus a quicker reaction time for that advantage in gaming.

Belkin has just launched a number of USB 3.0 peripherals. Among them is the Super Speed USB 3.0 PCIe card for desktop PCs, a Super Speed USB 3.0 Express Card designed for notebooks and netbooks, and a Super Speed USB 2.0 A-B cable.

Belkin promises that these devices have transfer speeds of up to 180 megabits per second, which is about three times faster than the USB 2.0 though not as fast as the five gigabits per second USB 3.0 is capable of.
