Seagate will be launching its Pulsar SSD at the Consumer Electronics Show next year in January. And along with that is Seagate’s newest and thinnest hard dive ever: the Momentus Thin.
The Seagate Momentus Thin is a 2.5 inch hard drive. It will come in either 160 GB or 250 GB. Both will also be boasting 8 MB of memory cache, a SATA 3 Gbps interface and a 5400 spindle speed.
The Momentus Thin is specially made 7mm thin to be able to fit in to slim laptops, notebooks or netbooks.
Details on the availability and pricing of the Momentus Thin still have yet to be released.
