Looks like Sony did not only give the Vaio Z a new Core i5-520M. Along with the new powerhouse, the Sony Vaio Z will also be getting a ‘Quad SSD’ in Sony language.

The Quad SSD is defined as SSD RAID0:64 GB/128 GB x 4. What’s unclear is whether that means 4x 128GB or 64GB modules for either 512GB or 256GB of RAID 0 storage, or simply 4x flash modules totaling 128GB or 64GB of RAID 0 capacity.

It is assumed that the Quad SSD will be similar to other devices such as the PhotoFast GMonster Quad Drive that features four CF memory cards. Sony’s Quad SSD however boasts a writing speed…

The Sony Vaio P Series may be on of the best and top rated notebooks—rather netbooks, since it can mostly be used for internet purposes—on the market today. It may also be one of the most stylish, too.

The luxurious P Series has a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom processor with 2 GB DDR2 RAM.

Unfortunately, the Vaio P Series can’t offer any possibility of an upgrade since the RAM is bonded to the mother board. The graphics card is an Intel GMA500 and there still 64 GB of disk space. The P Series can come pre-installed with Windows Vista Basin or Windows 7.

The glossy P Series sports a 1600 x 768 resolution…
