The Mach V (corei7) is a stunning speedy system created again by no other than the Falcon Northwest.  The Core i7 processor is the latest power processor from Intel’s R&D labs. It uses the 45nm manufacturing technology the company pioneered in last year’s Penryn processors. The Core i7 965Extreme processor is initially clocked at 3.2 GHz, but the engineers at Falcon have over clocked it to a max of 3.99 GHz. Falcon uses a sealed liquid cooling system to keep the processor from shutting down at this heady speed.

Alongside the processor and motherboard, Falcon installed an Intel 80GB solid-state drive (SSD). The drive, while relatively small in capacity, will boot and load very quickly. You’ll welcome this behavior if you start up and shut down your machine regularly—it takes 15 seconds or less to boot into Windows.
