The HP Mini 2140 notebook PC actually runs on a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and 1 GB of RAM. It also has a 160 GB hard drive. The graphics card is the integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. This unit also sports a 10.1 inch display which has a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, which also makes this unit referred to as the HP Mini 2140 HD.

This unit also hosts a number of ports which includes 2 USB ports, a VGA out, an Ethernet port, a SD slot card, an Express Card slot and the regular headphones and microphone jacks.

The HP Mini 2140 notebook also comes with three operating system options: the Windows XP operating system, the Windows Vista and the Linux operating system.

The HP Mini 2140 notebook also comes with a very stylish design. It is entirely silver which contrasts very well to its black display bezel. The keyboard is almost a full-sized one. The buttons of the touchpad meanwhile are unusually placed on either side of the touchpad.
