Lenovo is just bombarding us with its numerous new releases this new year. Another product of their beautiful minds is the IdeaPad U1 Hybrid laptop. What’s so special with this one, you say? It’s just that this 11.6-inch laptop comes with a retractable multitouch screen.
The IdeaPad U1 screen can be locked in its upright position in the laptop’s chassis and labors on a CULV Intel Core 2 Duo processor and runs Windows 7 home Premium. When the screen is taken from its armor, it transforms into a Qualcomm Snapdragon powered-multitouch slate with a 16GB SSD that runs with Lenovo’s exclusive Skylight Linux interface. That’s two processors and two operating systems in one heck of a laptop.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid is expected to wow the crowds at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
