Microsoft has just released three mice with its latest BlueTrack technology: Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500, Wireless Mouse 2000 and Comfort Mouse 4500. The BlueTrack technology allows your mouse to be used anywhere with the both the power of optical and the precision of laser.

All three are available for under thirty dollars and cover the cordless, portable and corded bases, except for the gray-only Wireless Mouse 2000. The remaining two models, the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and the Comfort Mouse 4500 are both available in variety of colors.

Belkin’s New USB 3.0 Peripherals

Belkin has just launched a number of USB 3.0 peripherals. Among them is the Super Speed USB 3.0 PCIe card for desktop PCs, a Super Speed USB 3.0 Express Card designed for notebooks and netbooks, and a Super Speed USB 2.0 A-B cable.

Belkin promises that these devices have transfer speeds of up to 180 megabits per second, which is about three times faster than the USB 2.0 though not as fast as the five gigabits per second USB 3.0 is capable of.

However, speed does not come cheap. These new USB 3.0 peripherals come with a price. The PCIe card retails at $79.99, the USB 3, the Express Card at $79.99…

Toshiba’s award-winning Mini NB205 continues its legacy with its successor, the all new Toshiba Mini NB305-N410.

The Toshiba Mini NB305-N410 features a 10-inch widescreen with 1024 x 600 resolution. Its keyboard, touchpad, and mouse buttons are large enough which makes them very easy to use.

Inside its plastic and metal chassis is Intel’s latest Atom platform, the Pine Trail. It uses the 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and the all-new Intel GMA 3150 graphics. Memory is still held at 1 GB of DDR2 RAM. The hard drive is upgraded from 160 GB to 250 GB.

Among all of HP’s Mini, the HP 311 may be the best so far. And it’s not just because of its $400 tag price. The Mini 311 comes with a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, Nvidia graphics card, 1 GB of hard drive and a hard disk storage capacity of 160 GB.

Its 11.6 inch screen has a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The Mini 311 also features a keyboard that is 92% of the original key size. The touchpad is very sensitive and pleasant to the touch but its left and right buttons are a bit too much noisy whenever you click on them.

Dell’s retail version of its multimedia powerhouse desktop is now here. The Dell Studio XPS 8000 is the $800 version of the brand’s Del Studio XPS 435. All that has been replaced is the graphics card, and the rest is virtually still the same.

Lenovo’s 700ds laptop has just got an upgrade with the new Lenovo ThinkPad W701ds. The new Lenovo ThinkPad W701ds now features an Intel Core i7-920 Extreme processor and Nvidia’s Quadro FX 3800M graphics.

The ThinkPad W701ds also boasts of up to 16 GB of DDR3 RAM memory and 500 GB of hard disk space. Shuttle is now offering their latest barebones PC, the Shuttle XPC SG41J1. The new PC showcases a completely re-designed casing over its predecessor XPC models.

The Shuttle XPC SG41J1 features linear controlled fans, large ventilation holes and improved airflow inside the chassis. It is also able of supporting mini-ITX motherboards and a range of Intel Core 2 processors and up to 8 GB of DDR2 RAM.
