Fujitsu comes out with a head-turner netbook, the MH380. The Fujitsu MH380 comes with its glossy red cover, chrome trim, the tear-drop shaped hinges and its silver edge lining.

The MH380 is powered by the decent Intel Atom N450 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 250 GB hard drive that comes in two equal sized drives. It also sports a 10.1-inch, 1366 x 768 high-resolution display and a 1.8 inch by 1.6 inch touch pad. The touchpad has been made smaller to accommodate the circular divot to the right of the track pad.

HP Slate Tablet To Compete With Apple iPad

HP is planning to price its Slate Windows 7 Tablet more competitively than the Apple’s new iPad. According to leaked details, HP’s Slate will come with 3G and will have similar specifications to the 3G iPad, but it will be prices less than the $629 Apple charges for its 3G iPad.

HP executives both from US and Taiwan are reportedly meeting to finalize the cost and feature set within the next few weeks.

However, as the HP Slate is running Windows 7, it’s extremely likely to use a variant of Intel’s Atom as the processor. Using a full desktop operating system will also likely push up the minimum storage as Windows 7…

Samsung’s R430 and R540 laptops are now finally available for the US customers, via the virtual US retail shelves that is.

Both the 15.6-inch R430 and 14-inch R540 sport a 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM and 320 GB hard drive. Graphics for the two laptops will be supported by Intel’s stock-in-trade GMA 4500 MHD graphics.

The R430 and R540 also comes with a built-in web camera, stereo speakers, a numeric keyboard, 802.11b/g/n wireless, an Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports, HDMI and VGA outputs, and a 3-in-1 media card reader. The two laptops also run with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
