It’s been quite some time since the Apple Mac Pro computer received any update. And now, rumors are flying around that Apple will finally give the unit a boost, which also could come as early as March 16th.

According to these rumors, the next generation Mac Pro will be rocking Intel’s new Core i7-980x Extreme six core processor. The said processor has a clock speed of 3.33 GHz and a TurboBoost to 3.6 GHz.

The Pioneer DreamBook Lite netbook comes with a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and 2 GB of DDR2 RAM. An optional 1.83 GHz Intel Atom N470 processor is also offered for the unit for more power.
