Toshiba comes with a new business laptop that may not have much when it comes in the “looks department” but will surely captivate many with what’s inside it: the Portege M780.
The Toshiba Portege M780 is equipped with a Core i5 processor inside. It will also come with up to 8GB of RAM, 802.11n wireless, SSD options. Other Toshiba notebooks, like the Tecra A11 will also be undergoing upgrades of Intel Core i7 CPUs.
Much like the HP 2730p, the Toshiba Portege M780 is a 12.1 inch convertible tablet PC. It has a spill-resistant keyboard and has been ruggedized to withstand drops measuring up to a meter.
The upgraded notebooks from Toshiba are expected to arrive in Europe, the Middle East and Africa this first quarter. The Portege M780 will follow suit with a Q2 2010 release.
